Case Study #2 A patient suffering from advanced amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), known also by the name of Lou Gehrig’s disease, tested Physioacoustic therapy in Kalamazoo in August-October 1991. After a 10-week therapy period he reported considerable improvement in breathing due to phlegm reduction in the bronchial tubes. His speech also became more understandable and there was improvement in blood circulation and increase of muscle strength, especially in the legs. The patient came to therapy sessions 2-3 times a week with the exception of three one-week breaks. In general the patient found the therapy to be very comfortable.
