In 1990 the founder Micheal Londo of Body Balance System™ had a daughter born with a very rare genetic disorder "Congenital Central Hypo-Ventilation Syndrome" leaving her 24 hour a day ventilator dependant. She came home from the hospital at the age of 6 month to her own mini ICU in her room. Thru the course of her life Micheal saw the need for a few various product to make life easier for her and others in a similar situation.

About our Research Partner:

Dr. Cusson was born in Drummondville, P. Quebec, Canada, in 1938 and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Montreal in 1960. Upon graduation, he immigrated to the US to obtain a PhD in Physics
and Mathematics from California Institute of Technology (CalTech) in 1965. Dr. Cusson conducted several noted research projects and became a professor of Physics at Duke University. His Physics expertise would later transform Dr. Cusson’s career beyond imagination as he applied his background into a new field of discovery.
